Senel Campos and his son, Allan, are the third generation of farmers to manage Finca La Toboba, a family-owned coffee farm with a history dating back to 1968, when the first coffee trees were planted. In 2016, the family built their own processing station, giving them greater control over coffee processing and quality. Ripe cherries are hand-picked and carefully selected.
The farm places a strong emphasis on sustainable practices, significantly reducing the use of herbicides and using shade trees to protect the crops and improve soil health. The coffee is naturally processed, with careful attention given to every stage, from harvesting to drying.
