El Divisadero is the project of Mauricio Salaverria, an expert in microbatch, which consists of bringing coffees from his five farms in one place, at the processing station at Villa Galicia, to experience numerous processings with specific varieties. The farm covers six hectares of land and is located at 1,600 meters above sea level, and the varieties planted are mainly Bourbon, Caturra, Pacas and Pacamara.
The coffee bushes grow here on clayey and volcanic soil alongside trees that shade them, protecting the soil and reducing the hydric stress borne by the bushes in the dry season, also being excellent wind barriers.
For the creation of this microlot, Mauricio reserved a piece of land for the Maracaturra variety.
