Gustavo Zuluaga bought the El Caney farm in 1998, and since then, he has been cultivating coffee with his daughter Natalia to high standards of quality. The farm is located in Belén de Umbría and is part of the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, which was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
Gustavo and his children are the third and fourth generations of a coffee-growing family with roots in the region, their ancestors having come from the Antioquia department in the early 20th century during a massive migration known as the "Antiochian Colonization."
