The La Cabaña processing station is part of the Perez family's business, Alma Del Huila, located in El Agrado, Huila department, in southwest Colombia. Danilo Perez, the owner's son, has taken over the management to produce more experimental lots. Raised practically amidst coffee and involved from a very young age, this has helped him to own or oversee a number of farms currently. He works alongside the field team to ensure that the proper selection and sorting of cherries are done carefully.
In the cup, we find intense notes of exotic fruit jam, followed by citrus and vanilla notes, while the brandy aftertaste contributes to the exceptional complexity of this lot.
