Carlos Ordoñez started growing coffee on the family farm at the age of 32. The processing station, El Cajon, is located at an altitude of 2,200 meters and benefits from a unique microclimate. It is managed by Carlos, his wife and daughter, and during the harvest season they are helped by six other workers.
The farmer abandoned traditional coffee cultivation practices, introducing innovative methods that significantly improved quality, being guided by the Social Foundation in Guidance and Expertise. Although he faces challenges in processing honey and refining fermentation, Carlos' satisfaction lies in delivering the best quality to customers.
In the cup we discover a special aromatic profile, with citrus and strawberry notes, rounded off by sweet nuances of vanilla and Medjool dates.
