Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm spans 500 hectares, with approximately 300 hectares planted in coffee, and has been managed by Ismael Hassen Aredo since 2012. Located in the Guji region of Ethiopia, the farm supports a large community, employing 25 permanent staff and around 300 seasonal workers.
The farm provides free transportation and invests in community development by supporting schools and administrative buildings, while ensuring competitive conditions for its workers.
Coffee is grown under shade, using trees such as acacia, and is naturally fertilized through compost.
