In 1998, Simon and Irene Nyaga founded Njemu Estate with the goal of transforming medium-scale coffee farming in Kenya, focusing on quality and best agricultural practices. Simon, with a background in agricultural economics, and Irene, responsible for managing and expanding the farm, turned it into a successful model. Located on the fertile soils of Mt. Kenya, the farm follows strict methods of selective handpicking and careful coffee bean processing. Thanks to their dedication, Njemu Estate is now recognized as a producer of high-quality specialty coffee.
