Konga is one of SNAP VI’s stations, located in the Yirgacheffe district at an elevation of 2200 meters above sea level, and sources most of its cherries from 450 farmers in the surrounding areas, who often deliver their cherries directly to the station. The red cherries, handpicked and sorted, are washed and then spread out on 170 raised beds, where they dry for 7 to 10 days, depending on the weather conditions.
